The Cuban fireball worked almost exclusively in sword ‘n’ sandal pix, yet is now best known for a brief but impressive appearance in Sergio Leone’s The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. The show is distinguished by attractive locations and the presence of an A+ femme fatale leading lady, Chelo Alonso. Mark Forest is one of the less exciting muscleman heroes, but 12 costume films in 5 years attest to his popularity, as Hercules, Maciste, Goliath and Samson.
